The veins eventually disappear altogether.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h3>\nIs the cost of sclerotherapy the same?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\nGenerally no, sclerotherapy is cheaper. Consequently, the public health sector is designed to primarily treat people with complications from their varicose veins. This means patients with visible leg swelling or worse (venous ulcers).
